Regensberg settlement,Switzerland

Hidden gem in the hills, Regensberg, Zürich Switzerland

Wow! That is  Swiss Toscana!

Thats what i thought when i saw that beautiful litle town from far , driving towards it on curvy roads ,surrounded by 50 shadows of green fields..

My husband found that magical place driving from work one day, funny thing is we never heard about it and its only about 25 kilometers from where we live.

I am so happy that we found it, you Swiss are hiding it well.

The town of Regensburg is standing on that hill from 13.century ,first settlers were Freiherren von Regensburg ,owners of the Castle Regensburg. There is also the deepest well in Switzerland ,which is 75 meters deep.

The medieval houses around the castle are all connected to each other and are in typical Swiss architecture with bautiful red , green, blue beams .

The streets are filled with sweet smell of roses ,all colors and kinds and they are blooming on every house ,its just overwelming.

Of course we needed a refreshement on a sunny June saturday ,they have delicious beers and ice coffee and we were serve by the friendliest smiley waitress ever.

The place is just so photogenic and so are the views of surounding villages , lakes and forests..

Yes the forest there is a true fairy land ,old trees and  white mossy rocks lying between them.

We even found some calcite crystals and took some sweet yellow elderflowers to make delicious ice tea...
